Weekly show in Århus

Thomas will be playing a weekly acoustic show and present artists from the vibrant underground scene of Århus at Arabia Café.

Le Petit Cabaret takes place every wednesday from 20-22 at Arabia Café (which is situated next to the busstation in the center of Århus). Entrance is free of charge and you can drink tea, eat hummus and smoke the waterpipe.

Sounds good, eh? Bring your friends!

Hiatus, no. Busy, yes.

2007 can now be viewed as an artifact of the past, no reason to dwell on it, though I could have my reasons to do so. It was a great year with plenty of adventures and small victories. 2008 will be wild, no doubt about that. I have some great news coming up regarding the album. I’ll return with more as soon as things are official and in place.

We recorded piano for the album between christmas and new years, and I’m quite pleased with it. So now there’s only bass and violin to be recorded. And vocal of course. And then the mixing. And mastering. And fabrication. And..

There are a few concerts coming up. You know where to look.

In the studio

Things are progressing as planned. We have recorded most of the tracks for guitar, banjo and accordeon. I’m struggling with a certain guitar part of the song The Nurse And The Knife Thrower. The accordeon parts are beautiful and I’m as always in awe by the talent of my young beautiful accordeonist, Toke. The banjo parts are equally eclectic and Morten is a stunning young man.

I’m thankful for all the time and effort that Michael and Emil are putting into making this album. We get along well and seem to have a lot of ideas in common. Next up is recording all the basic tracks on piano, then violin and bass on most of the songs. It’s going to be a busy December!
